John is the heartbeat of AquaPhysio, ensuring the smooth running of the centre on a day-to-day basis. He oversees all bookings, patient enquiries, and payments, while also managing the facility, physiotherapy team, and the vital behind-the-scenes operations that keep the pool running at its best.
With years of experience in the fitness and rehabilitation industry, John has seen firsthand the life-changing results that hydrotherapy can bring. From managing the very build of the centre, when it was just a hole in the floor, to watching it become a place where patients return time and time again for new injuries, different joints, or simply to stay strong and active, he takes great pride in seeing people get better through the power of water.
John is a qualified National Pool Plant Operator, meaning he is responsible for the water quality and maintenance of all pool equipment, ensuring every session takes place in a safe, clean, and perfectly balanced environment. He is also a qualified lifeguard and, outside of AquaPhysio, has a strong background in fitness and sport, having worked in the industry for many years- including as a Golf Professional. His experience has given him a deep understanding of movement, recovery, and how important exercise is for long-term health.
Above all, John is known for being incredibly approachable, welcoming, and always happy to help. He ensures that every patient who walks through the doors of AquaPhysio feels at ease, whether it's their first time trying hydrotherapy or they’re returning after experiencing the benefits before. He particularly enjoys seeing patients come back for a different injury or joint problem, choosing the pool first because they know how effective it is- a testament to how powerful water-based rehab can be.
John welcomes all patient feedback, whether it's to celebrate what AquaPhysio is doing well or to help improve the service even further. His goal is to make every patient’s journey as smooth, enjoyable, and beneficial as possible.
When he’s not at AquaPhysio, John stays active with long-distance running and golf, always pushing himself to new challenges- just like the patients he supports every day.
